Rusty Russell 2ce6a4bcca daemon/peer: move struct peer to internal header.
We use a different 'struct peer' in the new daemons, so make sure
the structure isn't assumed in any shared files.

This is a temporary shim.

Christian Decker 1c4c874d3f refactor: Making timers independent of the lightningd_state
The `dstate` reference was only an indirection to the `timers`
sub-structure anyway, so removing this indirection allows us to reuse
the timers in the subdaemon arch.

Christian Decker 3cb576d69d refactor: Moving gossip/routing specific state into its own struct
This used to be part of `lightningd_state` which is being split up for
the various subdaemons. The main change is the addition of the `struct
routing_state` in `routing.h` and the addition of `rstate` in `struct
lightningd_state` for backwards compatibility.

Rusty Russell 1edce4878d bitcoin/signature.h: remove struct signature.
It's a wrapper around secp256k1_ecdsa_signature, so use that directly.

Rusty Russell 4a233090ae log: rename struct log_record to struct log_book.
I think "log entry" when I see "log record", so this name is better.

Rusty Russell a4fdaab5b3 Use global secp256k1_ctx instead of passing it around.
If I'd known how large this patch would be (though trivial), I'd
have done it in parts.

Aliases seem to be popular among users wanting to show off their node,
so let's add them :-)

Christian Decker 94fd82dc81 irc: Announce the real expiry time
So far we've been announcing the locktime instead of the min_expiry the
node requires, this results in routes having wrong expiries.

Rusty Russell 144c40afd0 irc: get much less chatty.
We're going to wean off IRC, but as a quick fix, only announce 0-60 seconds
after we see a join, or every 6 hours.

Christian Decker 2a5a114f27 irc: Handle node announcements
lightningd now uses a WHOIS query on itself to learn its external IP
address and announces that on the channel with the NODE message. It also
tracks other nodes in the routing table.

Refactored the signature verification to reuse it for both CHAN and NODE
messages.

Christian Decker f4568e5c1c routing: Added IRC announcement glue
Added channel announcement serialization and parsing, as well as the
entrypoints for the IRC peer discovery. Announcements are signed by the
sending endpoint and signatures are verified before adding the channels
to the local view of the topology. We do not yet verify the existence of
the anchor transaction.
